Danika Allmon, C.P.A. [deceased]
Danika rejoined Michael B. Allmon & Associates as a CPA in December 2014. Previously, she worked for Michael B. Allmon & Associates from the beginning of 2006 until she left to join the “Big 4” CPA firm, Deloitte & Touche, LLP in 2011. While she was with us the first time around, she aided with tasks and projects of all sorts, including maintaining organization on all levels, transitioning to a paperless system, bookkeeping and associated client correspondence, and billing. Danika also contributed significantly to the firm’s transition to “in-sourced” tax return preparation. She assisted with the input of data for Individual and Corporate tax returns and used her experience to train other staff members. Danika was also very involved with the redesign of this website, as well as other social media ventures.
Danika graduated from Chapman University Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a minor in Psychology (some might say she is following in her father’s footsteps). Danika is a member of the California Society of CPAs and AICPA and enjoys staying involved with Deloitte as an Alumni.
In the summer of 2011 and the spring of 2012, Danika held internships with the Deloitte Tax Orange County office, after which she accepted a full-time position as a Business Tax Services Consultant. She spent the summer of 2012 focusing on the CPA exam, completing the four parts prior to beginning full-time at Deloitte. After about 8 months as a Business Tax Services Consultant at Deloitte, Danika took the opportunity to do a rotation into Deloitte’s R&D Tax Credit group. After one year as a full-time Business Tax Services Consultant, Danika transferred to the Audit practice, where she served as an Audit Associate, primarily serving clients in the Consumer Products and Healthcare industries. She left Deloitte in September 2014, took some personal time away from work, and ultimately found herself back where she started; good ole MBACPAs!
Aside from her work, Danika enjoys being as active as possible (including, but not limited to: running, cycling, mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing, yoga… you get the point!), riding on the back of her dad’s motorcycle, volunteering for various organizations, and expanding her knowledge through observing, listening, and interacting with her environment.
